The former Britomart Hotel, now known as The White Rabbit, is one of Auckland’s oldest surviving waterfront buildings. The project delivers a comprehensive programme to protect, stabilise, and retain this historic structure in place.
To enable deep excavation and the construction of a new tower immediately alongside, a robust scheme of structural strengthening and engineered support was meticulously designed and executed.
Once the building was fully secured, its interior was refurbishment to transform it into a boutique, character-rich commercial showroom space.
Work Invoveled:
Heritage Building status investigation and assessment, design and consenting management, stakeholder management, construction and commencing management.
